Aquastream: water rower with unique tank design

The Aquastream is an indoor rowing machine with water resistance. But where other water rowers have an upright tank, the Aquastream's is on its side. As a result, the rowing experience is more consistent and the equipment is virtually silent. In addition, there is an excellent console with clever programmes, as well as the possibility to connect to an app.

The cardiostrong Aquastream design

We wanted to create the perfect feeling of rowing on water for indoor use. Normal rowing machines come close, but we have learned that we need a new design for the perfect resistance. By tilting the tank, we have achieved a round, smooth rowing experience that is also very quiet. Even at high intensity, you are still able still speak at a normal volume. As a result of the tank, the rowing machine has a unique, very slim, modern and elegant design. We also wanted to make rowing more social by adding full app compatibility.

Winner of the ISPO Award 2022

The cardiostrong Aquastream received the ISPO Award in January 2023 at ISPO - one of the most important sports and fitness trade fairs in the world. The jury's statement said: "The Aqua Stream offers a rowing experience with an authentic water feeling and is more space-saving than comparable models. The device combines the advantages of devices with air or magnetic resistance with a chic design and fair price. Highlights of the AquaStream include the longitudinally-mounted, space-saving water tank and the accompanying rowing system."

Awarded as Germany's Favourite 2023

Germany's Favourite is an emerging product and design award from the Süddeutsche Zeitung in cooperation with the statistics portal Statista. What is special about the award is that the voices of a jury of experts are heard just as much as the voices of SZ readers. According to the award's website, "While classic water resistance rowers use a wide, shallow cylindrical tank, the Aqua Stream uses a long, tilted cylinder as the tank. This makes for a great rowing experience and is also particularly quiet - the Aqua Stream is the quietest rower with water and one of the quietest around. In addition, the rowing machine has all the conveniences of modern rowing machines: app compatibility, a comfortable seat and excellent looks."

Fantastic rowing machine

I've been looking for a rowing machine for home use for a while now. I don't like the feel of magnetic resistance and conventional air and water systems were just too loud for home use. I tried the aquastream and was instantly impressed! The typical great row of water resistance but so much quieter. The transport wheels could be a little larger to counter the heaviness, but in my opinion that just shows its stability. Die Lieferung erfolgte unverzüglich. Der Aufbau verlief leichter als gedacht und nach vier Monaten, fas täglicher Benutzung, läuft das Gerät immer noch ohne knacken und quietschen, ich fühle mich förmlicj wie auf dem Wasser. Von daher alles wie es sein muss um lange an diesem Gerät meine Freude zu habe .

Stabil, leise, einfach im Aufbau. Da wir in einer Wohnung im zweiten Stock leben und unser Nachbar etwas sensibel ist, war es mir wichtig, dass ich ein tolles Rudergerät kriege, welches nicht zu laut ist. Das habe ich hiermit geschafft. Auch das Rudergefühl ist toll und der Wasserklangwirkt fast schon Therapeutisch.

Ein exzellentes Rudergerät. Sehr leichter und schneller Aufbau, selbst für handwerklich nicht unbedingt Versierte. Für mich ist auch das recht große und beleuchtete Display hervorzuheben. Bin auch sehr zufrieden mit der Ruderbewegung und dem Wassersound. Kaufempfehlung!

Vorab einmal vielen herzlichen Dank an Heinz Krainberger vom Fitshop Graz in Österreich. Seine Beratung, Kompetenz und Menschlichkeit sind genauso top, wie die Qualität der Sportgeräte, die ich bisher über ihn erworben habe. Darunter befinden sich eben das Rudergerät Cardiostrong Aquastream, das Taurus Air Bike, das Taurus IC70 Smart Indoorbike und die Taurus Ultraforce Kraftstation, sowie das Wasserrudergerät Darwin RM40, welches ich durch das Aquastream ersetzt habe. Alles in allem Topgeräte. Das Aquastream ist nochmals auf einem ganz andrem Level, als das Darwin, kein Vergleich, obwohl ich mit dem Darwin schon sehr zufrieden war. Das Aquastream ist jedoch wesentlich leiser, da kann ich zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit in der Wohnung trainieren, ohne die Nachbarn zu stören. Ich habe den cardiostrong Aquastream nun seit einigen Wochen und bin begeistert! Tolles Design durch den liegenden Wassertank. Das Gerät ermöglicht ein effektives Training für den ganzen Körper und ist eine wertvolle Ergänzung für mein Heimtraining

Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesem Rudergerät! Der Wasserwiderstand vermittelt ein sehr realistisches Rudergefühl – fast so, als würde man tatsächlich auf dem Wasser trainieren. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Geräuschkulisse: Beim ersten Ruderschlag hört man das Wasser leicht rauschen, doch danach wird es erstaunlich still. Das macht das Training nicht nur angenehm, sondern auch ideal für gemeinsame Wohnsituationen oder abendliche Workouts. Die Bewegung ist gleichmäßig und flüssig, und der Widerstand passt sich automatisch der eigenen Zugkraft an – perfekt für jedes Trainingsniveau.
